The Bears are starting the summer conditioning program for all fall players. This fall will be the start of the 14th Season for the LZHS Bears Hockey Team. Our players continue to play for LZHS in the tradition of Bears Hockey with dedication and pride.

The Bears are always interested in new players to join our club. If you are interested in becoming part of LZBHC, or just joining a Bears hockey practice, please contact our club president, Jeff Woodward by e-mail at: jwoodward@bearshockey.com

2011 Summer Conditioning Program

The LZBHC’s Summer Conditioning Program is available to current and prospective players. The Program will consist

of on and off-ice training allowing our team to condition throughout the summer and ready to hit the ice in the fall.

PROGRAM DATES: June 23rd - August 25th

Off-Ice Conditioning

The off-ice conditioning program will be run by Scott Clark of BG Fast Fitness and Sports Training in Buffalo Grove.

He will be working with the team in the areas of stretching; footwork, coordination and balance; speed and agility;

full body and core strengthening; and nutritional counseling.

Sessions are weekly on Thursday evenings. Time: 6:45PM - 7:45PM Promptly

(A fitness test and initial evaluation will be held on 6/23/11.)

On-Ice

Summer Ice dates: 5 Sessions, Wednesdays, 7/20 through 8/17/11.

7PM to 8PM at Nelson Sports Complex, Rolling Meadows.

Cost

Cost of the program is $175 for the on and off-ice training, payable on 6/23. Checks should be made payable to LZBHC. On-ice Skates are available to walk-ups (non-current players) for $10 per session.
